THE DONUT CHALLENGE
Who doesn't love a donut...or three?
Join us this Saturday for a delicious fun run that combines two of our favorite things: running & donuts.
Participants will run/walk a 3.25 mile course through West Hartford, checking in at three Donut Crazy stops along the way. At each stop, participants will choose a card that will instruct them to either eat the donut, carry it to the finish (where it must be eaten before you cross the line) or go free.
While the intent of the event is to have fun, there will be special medals awarded to the top finishers, and all registered participants will receive a voucher for a free Crazy Donut & Coffee at Donut Crazy in West Hartford Center.
Cost to participate is $10 if you register before 6pm on February 13.

Spring Half Marathon Training Program
You know that goal you set to run a half marathon this year? It’s time to make it a reality!
Our tradtional training program for the UCONN Health (Iron Horse) Half Marathon begins on March 14.
Led by the energetic Coach Claudia Morrow and a great team of assistant coaches and mentors, your Saturday long runs will be fully supported with planned routes, water stops and coaching-on-the-run to help make the miles fly. Mid-week coach check-ins will keep you motivated to do your weekday homework runs and provide tips and inspiration.

BECOME A COACH
Girls on the Run of Greater Hartford is seeking coaches for their spring running programs. Assistant coaches can be women or men - you just need to be at least 18 years old and be able to commit to attending two 1-hour practices each week for 10-weeks. No experience necessary - GOTR will provide the training you need!
