This week we have a special education session for the Moms, Expectant Moms, and Significant Others or Friends or Family of Moms or Expectant Moms in Marathoner in Training. OK, for anyone interested in learning more about the Benefits of Exercise Before, During, and After Pregnancy…this is a special session for you!
This Saturday’s Fit For Life Physical Therapy – MIT Education Program (August 4, 2018) will be at Thomas Worthington High School at 6:00 a.m. We will feature your fellow MIT runner, Dr Anita Somani, a fantastic Columbus based OB/GYN and Mindy Hayward-Hauck the owner of Fit4Mom in Upper Arlington.
We are so excited that they will present together on the Benefits of Exercise Before, During, and After Pregnancy. Please plan to meet at the area near the TWHS field house at 6 a.m. for a couple of great speakers.

Wednesday, August 1st AM Option: Orange Township Hall at 5:15am PM Option: FrontRunner Worthington This week's workout: This week we will be practicing running at marathon, while also hitting hydration tables on the go! Jeff will be handing out hydration to you on the go, so that you can practice the fine art of not getting gatorade all over you in the middle of your marathon, and getting chased down by a bees!
All workouts begin with a 1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down. Beginner: 3x2miles at Marathon Pace; 1 minute rest Half: 2x2miles at Marathon Pace; 1 minute rest Full: 3x2miles at Marathon Pace; 1 minute rest Not sure what pace you should be aiming for? This will help!

First time and veteran half and full marathoners alike should make efforts to prepare for and simulate their race before heading to the starting line. There are several things you can do between now and race day the will greatly reduce race morning anxiety.
